Hope you’re having a great Wednesday (“Hump Day”) and that you’re getting a lot done.
Peter and I have been hacking away at putting the right frame and boundaries around YEN and I wanted to share one of the preliminary outlines of our schema / architecture / I-think-this-is-what-we-are-building-right? types of things:
What you see is essentially a general workflow of how the user might engage with YEN and the greater platform.
As many of you have guessed (and as we have shared) we are looking at re-writing the very idea(s) around what a cryptocurrency exchange can be; from the very structure of design all the way down to the way people buy cryptocurrency.
We think there’s a huge, un-tapped opportunity to serve our cryptonation really well and so we’ve gone back to the drawing board more than a few times on our principle designs.
To a large degree we’re simply asking this question:
Why does YEN exist?
And maybe even this one as well:
Why should YEN exist?
These obvious existential questions are important for us to marinate on and respond to and if we can’t easily answer them (or figure out what the real questions are) then we’re wasting our time.
Much of the feedback that you’ve given us so far as it relates to use cases has been really, really helpful (keep that coming!). We want to get as much feedback as possible before we lay any serious lines of code so that we’re executing against something that all of you will not only use… but love.
To infinity… and blockchain.
